I have a great habit of throwing my life into the air like a set of Pick-up Sticks.

Because while you create the environment around you through your habitual thought, you also reinforce your mind's paths through the environment which surrounds you. Life becomes it's own self-fulfilling prophecy.

Since I've allowed myself to be talked into using a social network, I've chosen Google+ - https://plus.google.com/100966219303655242183/posts - and you can follow my work there - mostly my comments as I work to make sense out of this world.
What has come up recently is content curation. All marketing, especially on the Web, revolves around leading your community and so attracting followers. There is a great post on Ed Dale's Challenge site. And while this is just the tip of the iceberg (and I also note that I may have thrown you into the icy water with his complete course there) this video is the best I know of which tells you how to get started in market leading.
This is a natural, since I told you about the "Business Diamond System", it's been kicking my butt all over the place. (Other than taking up Ed Dale's idea of doing a 365-day content creation challenge.)
Because while I have a pretty good grasp of my own purpose, the next step down is Community (Market) Leading. So I have to find and evolve the community which my solution is most useful for. This is a flaw in Mike Dillard's "Magnetic Marketing" - in that he equates leadership to some sort of beingness rather than a doingness - meaning you just decide to act a certain way, to become an "alpha".
However, there are missing dots to connect here - in my estimation, at least. And as I can, I'll get an ecourse out to you just on this subject...
The other point is Focus. You have to find your purpose, find what you are good at doing, and then narrow down your activities to just that small set. Just as there are only 1 in 10,000 who become really successful at a given training program, so you seemingly need to narrow down your focus to simply deal with that small area of your own life which will help you manifest all the native abundance which is native - in the fastest and largest fashion possible. (Because we have to get the most back from every bit of time we are investing, don't we?)
My tools, much as Ed Dale recommends, are Google Reader, Onlywire, and now Scribefire/Posterous. Reader narrows down to those influential people I want to learn from, as well as having some Google Alerts which bring me their searches for keyword terms I'm interested in. Onlywire allows me to signify those key pages I look up - and bookmark, tweet, and post this data in snippets. Scribefire allows me to post to any of my blogs, but especially Posterous - which is another autopost/syndication route to let people know what I'm up to.
The point is to both find giants who you can stand on their shoulders while meanwhile encouraging others to stand on yours.
If you have been following me, you'll see that I've been working on just a few main points:
- online marketing
- book publishing (especially ebooks)
Of course my MLM studies fit in under online marketing, but also now have taken me right into book publishing. Unfortunately, I took down my autoresponder service a few months ago and am just now rebuilding it on a new base. So everything has taken a back seat to something else.
Upcoming work is a test of ebook lead generation by creating a book on Network Marketing, which will be published as both an ebook and also a hardcopy version. And I'll be doing a launch release project to tell you all about it as I go.(Aren't you lucky?!?)
For now, we'll let the chips fall where they may. And I'm probably going to have to limit myself to so many minutes per day in curating content - not trying to keep up with everything. But the great thing about Google Reader is that you can search within your own aggregated feeds to find the data you want. So even if I "miss" a great item, it will still be there.
And you can see that a lot of these strategies I've merely touched on - but I hope to bring you all up to date as I go along. So stay tuned.
